The Consultation Process
Dr. Shenko’s goal is to ensure that you, the patient, have an optimal experience from the moment of your initial phone call through the final result of your cosmetic procedure. We provide the highest quality care in a relaxing environment, with special attention paid to patient confidentiality. We never put surgical costs ahead of safety.
The staff has dedicated themselves to providing you with exceptional customer service, focusing as a team of professionals. The consultation itself will be conducted by both the doctor and the Patient Care Coordinator, either Tina, Doreen or Anina. The goal of the consultation is education and information. This is a chance for you to express your concerns, to learn about the various options to achieve your goals, and to meet and feel comfortable with Dr. Shenko and his staff. At the same time, we are afforded an opportunity to get to know you as a person and your expectations as a potential patient.
Dr. Shenko sets aside a substantial amount of time for each consultation in order to ensure that all of your concerns are addressed and that you are comfortable and secure before, during, and after your procedure. He will first listen and evaluate the patient to educate and ensure that the goals are realistic and the results are long lasting. There will be ample time to have all your questions answered and to look at books of “before and after” pictures. In addition, if desired, we will provide you with phone numbers of patients who have undergone procedures in which you are interested.
A second appointment is set up before surgery to go over the specific details of your permanent, surgical investment. After surgery, you will be followed closely with office visits and phone calls until you are well healed and happily satisfied.
Dr. Shenko is married with children and resides in the Central Mass area. He enjoys golf and mountain biking. He spends his free time in the summer in New Hampshire.
Dr. Shenko has over 25 years of experience and is in private practice in Worcester where he specializes in cosmetic surgery, and has a sub-specialty in hand surgery.
A Patient Review
I want to thank Dr. Shenko for the kindness and professionalism he showed to my wife and I while he was treating her. It is not often that you find someone who cares about the feelings of someone and then goes beyond to help that person become a viable person again in their own mind and life. Dr Shenko is the Best of the Best as far as my family is concerned and I personally thank him for his wit and his concern for me as the husband of a patient. Not too many doctors take time to really get to know their patients. Dr. Shenko goes beyond that by showing concern for all of the family and putting them at ease. Thank you Dr. Shenko.
